28 Jan A Big Year Ahead For Skateboarding
We’re not at the end of January yet and already we have 59 gigs booked in for this year with tonnes more still being finalised. It’s awesome to see how many schools, councils and organisations are embracing skateboarding as part of their curriculum – or as part of their healthy lifestyle programmes – and it’s even better to see how many kids are loving to learn to skateboard, and sticking with it when they go home.
Already there’s comfortably over 5,000 kids in the mix for this years sessions and we’ll be working all over the map in different ways: from Reward Days at schools in Kent – to Sports Weeks for councils in Dorset – to Health Weeks for Youth Clubs in Manchester!! We’re also looking forward to going back to many schools and clubs who we visited last year, to see how they’re all progressing and who the futures skateboarding stars are!!
We’re as passionate about skateboarding as we are about teaching, so if you want to know what we can deliver in your school, organisation or community – just get in touch, we’d love to hear from you. Remember we’ll travel to you – we’ll bring all the equipment needed – and we’ll make use of whatever space you have available. Easy.
