19 Jan Rubicon and Skateboard England
Both The Rubicon Skate School and Camp Rubicon are supporting Skateboard England which has been recently been created as the governing body of skateboarding. This is a natural step forward for skateboarding. It will lead to more people getting into riding, more and better skateparks, and in general generate some credibility for what we do. Don’t be put off by the term governing body, that’s simply the name given to such a group within the system they work. This is a positive step and for most we’ll just carry on riding as these guys work in the background tracking down more funding, organising more jams, and doing what they can for the local scenes, shops, parks and individuals.
