Warwickshire Scootability Sessions…

Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership is committed to providing young people with the training needed to make journeys safely on their scooters. In partnership with Scootability, free to attend sessions are being offered at a variety of sites throughout Warwickshire during the Easter.

All the equipment is provided (such as scooters, helmets and pads) and the sessions are suitable for children aged 5 to 10 years. Every child that signs up will get the opportunity to take their Level 1 Scootability training which lasts 90 minutes. The training starts with the basic skills of balancing, turning and braking before moving on to narrow pavements, moving obstacles and one handed signalling.

Parents/Carers are required to stay for the duration of the session.

Monday 25th March

Tuesday 26th March

10:00 to 11:20 – Stratford Recreation Ground (on the car park by the Sports Pavillion) (FULL)
11:30 to 12:50 – Stratford Recreation Ground (on the car park by the Sports Pavillion)

2:10 to 3:30 – The Greig Leisure Centre (inside the Sports Hall)

Wednesday 27th March

9:30 to 10:50 – The Kenilworth Centre (on the outdoor tennis courts)
11:00 to 12:20 – The Kenilworth Centre (on the outdoor tennis courts)

2:00 to 3:20 – The SYDNI Centre, Sydenham (on the outdoor basketball courts)
