Forgot about this great little project we did back in 2011. Basically a company called On The Radar (writer Isabel Thomas, publisher Lerner Publications) were producing a book on Board Sports and wanted the insight of a professional instructor and our man Geoff was asked. Although the tagline was a bit cheesey “The tricks, stunts, thrills, and spills of boarding addup to a culture that is addictively cool” Geoff gives some great advice for beginners and also shares some crazy injury stories (each wrist broken 4 times for starters!). Anyway just another example of the wacky stuff the Rubicon team is involved with.
