What a weekend!!! Europe’s biggest action sports and music festival went off in massive style and playing a key part in that was the Girls Skate Comp with top riders like Lois Pendlebury, Sam Bruce, Lucy Adams, Sophie Allen, Danielle Mellor and Sabrina Goggel all battling it out on the street course.
The girl’s final on Saturday night was won by the super gnarly German Sabrina Goeggel, with Lucy Adams taking 2nd, Lois Pendlebury 3rd and Sam Bruce 4th.
Basically, Sabrina killed the ledge and the hip busting heelflips and solid fs grinds and slides. LA tried to skate round the whole course, working the jump boxes and pole jam. Lois cruised round hitting up the generation gap with a bolts kickflip and also worked the trannies on the course. Sam threw down a smooth boardslide on the rail to bank and floated some nice fs ollies on the quater!
