Action sports are a great way to get children interested in sport again

More and more, we are finding that schools and councils are using action sports like skateboarding and scootering to capture the interest of children, particularly those that have previously shyed away from traditional sports. A great example of this was from St Bernard’s Catholic Primary School yesterday where we provided both skateboard and scooter workshops to lots of different classes. The organiser had this to say:

“Just a quick note to say how much the children and teachers enjoyed the scooters and skateboarding yesterday. Liam was excellent and I had great reports from all teachers involved about his polite and approachable manner with all children from different ages. It was great to see children who aren’t always the first to get involved in school sports taking an active part.”
